Rep. Rob Wittman, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Virginia's 1st district since 2007, shared a series of updates on his activities and initiatives via social media.
On January 23, 2025, Rep. Wittman announced his participation in a radio show: "In just a few minutes, I'll be joining the @jeffkatzshow on @NewsradioWRVA. Tune in now!"
The following day, January 24, he highlighted legislative efforts to address forest fires: "We’ve seen devastating impacts from uncontrolled forest fires — that’s why we passed the Fix Our Forests Act yesterday. This morning I joined @MorningsMaria on @FoxBusiness to discuss how we can responsibly manage our natural resources to prevent future tragedies."
Later that same day, Rep. Wittman reported on his visit to a local sports facility: "The Henrico Sports and Events Center opened in 2023 and provides a blend of competition and entertainment space along with amenities that can welcome any event. Last week, I had the opportunity to tour the @HenricoCenter facilities with Brookland District Supervisor Dan Schmitt."
