Investigators Seek Assistance Identifying Larceny from Motor Vehicle Suspects

Williamsburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify two people suspected of stealing items and money from an unlocked vehicle. On Jan. 9, 2023, at approximately 2:20 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of South England Street for a report of larceny from a motor vehicle. The initial investigation revealed that roughly $5,500 worth of luggage, electronics, and personal effects, along with $800 cash, was stolen from inside an unlocked vehicle.Surveillance footage provided investigators with a suspect vehicle occupied by an unknown male and female. The vehicle is described as a white, newer model Kia K5 GT-Line sedan with tinted windows. Investigators are seeking assistance in identifying the two unknown suspects.The first suspect is a black female with long dark hair, average height, and medium build. The second suspect is a black male with black hair, black beard, average height, and a skinny build.If you have information about this incident or know the identity of either suspect, please contact the Williamsburg Police Department at 757-220-2331.
