City of Williamsburg issued the following announcement on Oct. 26
The Williamsburg Public Art Council (WPAC) is asking for input as it develops a Public Art Program for the City of Williamsburg.
The survey can be found online and is open through Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021. The survey asks the public to look at styles and mediums, themes, and locations. Participants will be shown images to help illustrate the questions being asked. The findings will be used to inform discussions and recommendations made by WPAC to City Council and City staff.
The purpose of the Public Art Program is to:
- celebrate the City’s past, present, and future with public art;
- enhance the City’s identity and economic vitality by encouraging people to spend more time in the City engaged with public art; and
- highlight and enhance the beauty and unique character to the City.
