There were 2,115 Black students enrolled in Williamsburg-James City Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 1% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Williamsburg-James City Public Schools District welcomed 11,694 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 18.1% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the school.
