There were 29 American Indian students enrolled in York County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 3.6% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that York County Public Schools District welcomed 13,110 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.2% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the school.
