89.2% of Williamsburg City residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 15,299 citizens living in Williamsburg City in 2021, 89.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 13,653 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 6,181 were male, constituting 45.3%, and 7,472 were female, making up 54.7%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Williamsburg City during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
