At 8 p.m. on Aug. 30, James City County Police responded to a report of gunshots in the 100 block of Lafayette Boulevard. Upon arrival, it was learned that a 44-year-old JCC male had been shot in the shoulder. He was transported to Riverside Regional Medical Center and treated for his injuries. He is expected to recover.

Callers to the Crime Line and P3 Tips users may remain anonymous, do not have to testify in court and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 if the information provided leads to an arrest.
