SHIP invites you to join the fun! During the three-day annual Pedal the Parkway event, participants travel Colonial Parkway on their own steam. Stroll, roll, bike, or walk the 7 mile-stretch of Colonial Parkway that will be closed to vehicles between Highway 199 at Kingspoint and Route 359 at Jamestown. The first 50 families to participate by taking a selfie in front of a SHIP sign along the route and posting to SHIP’s Facebook page or emailing their photo to janice.kailos@wjccschools.org will win a free bike safety kit from SHIP in partnership with Conte’s Bike Shop!
