Be in Class on Time, Every Time

College4

York County School Division issued the following announcement on Feb. 6

GAHS had over 200 tardy students to school several days recently. This slows down the school’s process to communicate accurate attendance information to our families each day. We NEED our students in their classrooms ON TIME, EVERY DAY at 9:00 AM. Please note that a late school bus is always considered on-time. Ms. Myers, our attendance secretary, is the BEST attendance secretary in HCPS, and she does her job with attention to accuracy and perfection.

There’s no way that she can quickly process all the unexcused tardy students when students can get here ON TIME. The same concern is true for any unnecessary early dismissals.

Please, let’s show our appreciation to Ms. Myers and school and get to GAHS ON TIME! Thanks for your attention to this concern.
