James City County issued the following announcement on Dec. 17
James City County offices, facilities, services, libraries and courts will observe the following schedule for the holiday:
County Offices:
Closed Friday, Dec. 24, Monday, Dec. 27 and Friday, Dec. 31.
James City County Recreation Center and Abram Frink Jr. Community Center:
Closed Friday, Dec. 24, Saturday, Dec. 25 and Saturday, Jan. 1.
Closing at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31.
Parks:
All County parks are open year-round
Park Stores and Guest Services Offices:
Chickahominy Riverfront Park, Little Creek Reservoir Park, James City County Marina and Freedom Park office/stores are closed Friday, Dec. 24, Saturday, Dec. 25 and Saturday, Jan. 1.
Convenience Centers:
Tewning Road and Jolly Pond Road close at noon Friday, Dec. 24 and are closed Saturday, Dec. 25 and Saturday, Jan. 1.
Toano Convenience Center remains closed until further notice.
Garbage Transfer Station:
Closing at noon Friday, Dec. 24 and closed Saturday, Dec. 25 and Saturday, Jan. 1.
Curbside Recycling:
No change to regular schedule.
Libraries:
Closed Thursday-Sunday, Dec. 23-26, Friday, Dec. 31 and Saturday, Jan. 1.
Courts:
Closed Thursday-Friday, Dec. 23-24 and Friday, Dec. 31.
