26

Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance recently issued the following announcement.

Kiwanis Shrimp Feast is Back!

We're back, and we're back big with a new location and incredible music! The Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg will hold it's 41st Shrimp Feast - a longtime community favorite fundraising event -  on Saturday, September 11th from 4:00-7:00 p.m..  The event will be generously sponsored by Chesapeake Bank, Chesapeake Wealth Management, Chesapeake Payment Systems and Henry S. Brascome.  The new location at the Jamestown Settlement will provide attendees with more convenient parking and easy access through online ticket sales. Music by the hottest and most sought after band in the area, Good Shot Judy, will take the entertainment meter to a whole new level!  The same great all-you-can-eat shrimp and sides will be served.  Adult beverages for purchase will include specially-brewed Shrimpin' Ain't Easy from Virginia Beer Company, a community partner and sponsor. Corn hole, face painting, shaved ice, and Uncle Dave's Kettle Korn will be on site. Additionally, the Shrimp Feast would not be possible without the generosity of Second Street, A Logo For You and Mega Auto Spa.  The 20th anniversary of 9/11 will be recognized with a special tribute to honor the memory of this day in history. Proceeds will benefit:  Bacon Street, Meals on Wheels and the Williamsburg Regional Library Kids Idea Studio.  Tickets are limited and will be only be sold online.  Don't wait!  Purchase your ticket today at williamsburgkiwanis.org
