On March 31, 2025, Rep. Wittman emphasized the importance of efficient mail service for Virginians, whether they reside in urban or rural areas. He stated, “Virginians deserve timely, reliable mail service—whether they live in the Richmond region or in our most rural communities.” He hosted a roundtable discussion with USPS and local officials, aiming to address delivery time issues and enhance public trust.
Following this, on April 1, 2025, he highlighted the support available for constituents needing assistance with federal services. Wittman tweeted, “Do you need help with checking on Social Security benefits, renewing a passport, or processing a VA claim?” He announced the hosting of mobile office hours in Warsaw, in addition to his district offices in Glen Allen and Yorktown, to assist with casework.
Later the same day, Wittman underlined Virginia’s strategic role in national defense after meeting with Brig. Gen. Chad Ellsworth. In his tweet, he remarked, “The @DLAMIL Richmond Distribution facility plays a vital role in supporting our military and demonstrates Virginia’s position in our national defense.” He discussed the aviation division’s mission and priorities.
