On Thursday, March 13, former Walsingham Academy standout Lincoln Lubsen’s current college team, the Christopher Newport Captains, won 8-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Roanoke Maroons.

The game took place at Salem Memorial Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Maroons this season.

The Captains’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 17 at 3 p.m. at Captains Park against Oswego State Lakers.
