Beam Signing Celebrates New Medical Office Building on the Campus of Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg

Today, Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg (RDHW) held a celebratory beam signing ceremony to mark a milestone in the construction progress for the Medical Office Building (MOB) scheduled to open in Spring 2024. Guests were provided the opportunity to sign the 33’-0” long structural beam which was placed on the northeast corner of the building.

“We are grateful for the hard work and dedication of our project team and leadership throughout our health system which has brought us to this milestone,” says Adria Vanhoozier, President of Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg. “It is our hope that the new MOB will inspire and empower those from around our community to achieve their best health.”

The nearly 68,000 square-foot facility is designed to care for patients across a wide-range of specialty care needs. The new MOB will have more than 30 medical and surgical specialists supported by over 125 ancillary and support team members. The state-or-the-art building will include:

  • Orthopedics
  • Outpatient Rehabilitation
  • Physical Therapy

  • Laboratory
  • Pulmonology

“We are excited to celebrate this milestone in the construction of our new MOB,” says Sally Ryan, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Riverside Medical Group. “We are one step closer to opening this state-of-the-art facility on the campus of RDHW which will further streamline the health care journey for our patients.”

The construction of the new MOB broke ground in August of 2022 and is on schedule to be completed by the Spring of 2024.
