Darryl Ware
Darryl Ware, a head and neck cancer survivor, underwent treatment for thyroid cancer and lymphoma. After completion of his treatment he began to notice fluid buildup in his head and neck with swelling that was uncomfortable. With the support of his cancer care team and lymphedema therapist, Mr. Ware was able to relieve the swelling and learn tools he could use at home to manage symptoms and improve his quality of life. Mr. Ware shares awareness that support is around you and there are many resources to support your cancer journey from diagnosis to treatment and through survivorship.
