On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Grafton High School standout Nikki Gibson’s current college team, the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles, won 11-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Columbia Lions.
The game took place at UCF Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.
The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 11:30 a.m. at UCF Softball Complex against Quinnipiac Bobcats.
James City County has announced the schedule for county offices, facilities, services, libraries, and courts in observance of Veterans Day on November 11.
James City County Parks & Recreation received seven awards from the Virginia Recreation & Park Society (VRPS) at its 72nd Annual Conference, which took place in Roanoke, Virginia from October 26-29.
The James City County Recreation Center will be closed for annual maintenance from November 17 to 23.
