Rep. Rob Wittman, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Virginia’s 1st district, has shared recent updates on his activities and acknowledgments via social media. Wittman, who has been in office since 2007 after succeeding Jo Ann Davis, continues to engage with community initiatives and support constituents through various means.

On May 19, 2025, Rep. Wittman announced his participation in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Millie’s Home in Hanover. This maternity home is dedicated to supporting expectant mothers in need. Wittman shared a personal connection by mentioning his own adoption at eight months old from the Children’s Home Society of Virginia in Richmond.

In another post dated May 20, 2025, Rep. Wittman highlighted the services provided by his district offices located in Glen Allen and Yorktown. He informed constituents about mobile office hours scheduled in Warsaw to assist with casework related to Social Security benefits, passport renewals, and VA claims.

Later that day, on May 20, 2025, Rep. Wittman expressed gratitude during #EMSWeek towards EMS professionals for their dedication and service on the frontlines of emergency care. He acknowledged their role in saving lives and strengthening communities daily.

Rep. Rob Wittman was born in Washington D.C., resides in Montross, and graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1981.
