Rep. Rob Wittman, who represents Virginia’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress and has served since 2007, shared updates on his recent activities and engagements through his social media channel.

On April 29, 2025, Wittman said, “April is #AutismAcceptanceMonth—a time to celebrate the contributions of individuals with autism and promote greater understanding and inclusion. Last Congress, I was proud to support the Autism CARES Act, now law, which expands autism research, education, and resources through”. This highlights his continued support for initiatives that promote inclusivity and advances in autism research and education.

The following day, April 30, 2025, Wittman announced, “I just joined @jfradioshow live — tune in!”. He encouraged people to listen to his live appearance on the radio show, indicating his efforts to engage with constituents and the public through media.

Later on April 30, 2025, Wittman expressed his enjoyment in participating in a community event. He stated, “Had a fantastic time at the 21st Annual @TownofAshland Train Day, celebrating the love for trains and all things railroad! It’s always a pleasure to join the community for this fun-filled event and connect with folks who share a passion for our local history and transportation.” This reflects his connection with the community and his interest in local traditions and history.

Rob Wittman, born in 1959, lives in Montross, Virginia, and is noted for his background in the Virginia House of Delegates and the Westmoreland County Board of Supervisors prior to joining Congress.
