Rob Wittman, a U.S. Congressman representing Virginia’s 1st district since 2007, recently shared his activities and engagements through a series of tweets. As an alumnus of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), he expressed his pride and support for the VCU basketball team.

On March 18, 2025, Wittman tweeted his congratulations to the VCU basketball team: “As a proud VCU alumnus, I want to congratulate @VCU_Hoops on their incredible championship win this past weekend!”

The following day, March 19, 2025, Wittman highlighted his visit to Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg: “What an inspiring visit to @HabitatPGW in Williamsburg! It was great meeting with CEO Shauntrice Williams and her impressive team, all of whom are dedicated to making a positive impact in the greater Williamsburg area.”

Later on March 19, 2025, Wittman acknowledged the American Seniors Housing Association for inviting him to tour Edgeworth Park at New Town in Williamsburg: “Thank you to the American Seniors Housing Association for inviting me to tour @EdgeworthPark at New Town in Williamsburg! We had great discussions on workforce challenges in the assisted living industry, and I enjoyed viewing their facilities and hearing about their commitment…”
