Residents are invited to participate in the Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission (PRAC) meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 15, at 6 p.m. This meeting will take place at the James City County Recreation Center, located at 5301 Longhill Rd. During this session, there will be a public comment period allowing residents to share their thoughts or suggestions concerning Parks & Recreation facilities, parks, programs, or services.
The PRAC members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors for staggered four-year terms. The Commission acts as a liaison between the Director of Parks & Recreation and various stakeholders including the Board of Supervisors, the County Administrator, and local citizens on matters related to recreation and parks.
