On Tuesday, March 11, former Grafton High School standout Frankie Engel’s current college team, the Lynchburg Hornets, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Greensboro Pride.
The game took place at Ted Leonard Park. This was their first matchup against the Pride this season.
The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 4 p.m. at Armstrong-Shelley Field against Methodist Monarchs.
James City County has announced the schedule for county offices, facilities, services, libraries, and courts in observance of Veterans Day on November 11.
James City County Parks & Recreation received seven awards from the Virginia Recreation & Park Society (VRPS) at its 72nd Annual Conference, which took place in Roanoke, Virginia from October 26-29.
The James City County Recreation Center will be closed for annual maintenance from November 17 to 23.
