On Thursday, Feb. 27, former Tabb High School standout Emily Angel’s current college team, the Mary Washington Eagles, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Lynchburg Hornets.

The game took place at Aubrey R. Moon Jr. Field. This was their second matchup against the Hornets this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at UMW Softball Stadium against Virginia Wesleyan Marlins.
