On Thursday, April 10, former Grafton High School standout Frankie Engel’s current college team, the Lynchburg Hornets, won 11-7 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Christopher Newport Captains.
The game took place at Captains Park. This was their first matchup against the Captains this season.
The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 12 p.m. at Owen-Fulton Field against Averett Cougars.
