On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Walsingham Academy standout Lincoln Lubsen’s current college team, the Christopher Newport Captains, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Messiah Falcons.
The game took place at Captains Park. This was their third matchup against the Falcons this season.
The Captains’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. at Captains Park against Bridgewater Eagles.
James City County has announced the schedule for county offices, facilities, services, libraries, and courts in observance of Veterans Day on November 11.
James City County Parks & Recreation received seven awards from the Virginia Recreation & Park Society (VRPS) at its 72nd Annual Conference, which took place in Roanoke, Virginia from October 26-29.
The James City County Recreation Center will be closed for annual maintenance from November 17 to 23.
