New Town Tunes concert rescheduled due to weather concerns

The New Town Tunes concert scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, featuring the bands London and Woah, has been postponed due to a forecast of inclement weather. The event is now set to take place on Wednesday, June 18.

James City County Parks & Recreation is organizing the free evening outdoor concerts in collaboration with CultureFix VA and New Town Commercial Association. These events will be held at Sullivan Square in New Town, Williamsburg, starting at 5 p.m.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase during the concerts. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets along with family, friends, coworkers, and pets to enjoy the performances.

Upcoming concert dates include:

– Wednesday, May 21: Wolph
– Wednesday, May 28: Slapnation
– Wednesday, June 4: Wilder Horses
– Wednesday, June 11: The Nashville Nights Band
– Wednesday, June 18: London and Woah

Each event will feature various food trucks and restaurants such as Corner Pocket, Curry in a Hurry, Old City BBQ among others.
