James City County Parks & Recreation hosted an unveiling event at Greensprings Interpretive Trail on June 18. The occasion marked the introduction of a new interactive interpretive sign located at the trailhead, 3751 John Tyler Hwy.

The development of this educational display was made possible through a grant from the Williamsburg Community Foundation. Additionally, volunteers from the Historic Rivers Chapter of Virginia Master Naturalists contributed by researching and designing the sign. The interactive feature provides information about the trail’s geological formation and its diverse plant and animal life, aiming to enhance visitors’ educational experiences.
