James City County’s Department of Social Services is seeking community input on how to improve its programs. The department, in collaboration with the William & Mary School of Public Policy, has launched a confidential online survey for residents.

The survey is open to all, regardless of whether they have previously received assistance or used programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, Child Care, or Housing. According to the department, “Even if you have never received assistance or if you have used programs like SNAP, Medicaid, Child Care or Housing, your feedback is important.”

The survey is designed to take about five minutes to complete and aims to gather feedback that will help shape future services.
