James City County Parks & Recreation is inviting members of the Grove Community to apply for the Neighborhood Advisory Committee. The committee aims to represent community voices, advocating for families, youth, adults, and various organizations. Members will serve a voluntary two-year term with an option to reapply.

Applicants must be in good standing and affiliated with the Grove neighborhood as residents or stakeholders. Service on the committee is unpaid. Meetings are scheduled to begin in September 2025 and will occur two to four times annually, with additional meetings as needed. Parks & Recreation staff will facilitate these meetings.

Applications are open until August 15. Interested individuals can apply by calling 757-259-5412, emailing [email protected], mailing JCC Parks & Recreation at their Williamsburg address, or completing an online application.

James City County Parks & Recreation encourages all interested community members and stakeholders from Grove to participate in shaping their neighborhood’s future.
