James City County Police seek public’s help locating missing teenager

The James City County Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find Devaughn Gray, a 16-year-old who was reported missing on September 3, 2025.

According to police, Gray was last seen on Cowpen Court in James City County during the evening of September 3. Authorities provided a description of Gray as a black male, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing around 136 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. A photograph has been released to assist with identification.

Anyone with information regarding Gray’s location is encouraged to call 911 or contact the James City County Police Department’s dispatch line at 757-566-0112.
