James City County announces closures and service changes for Veterans Day

James City County has announced the schedule for county offices, facilities, services, libraries, and courts in observance of Veterans Day on November 11.

County offices will be closed on Veterans Day. The James City County Recreation Center and Abram Frink Jr. Community Center will remain open that day. All county parks will continue to operate as usual throughout the year.

Park stores and guest services offices will also be open on November 11. Jolly Pond Road and Toano Convenience Centers, along with the Tewning Road Convenience Center and the garbage transfer station, will all be open during the holiday.

Curbside recycling services will not experience any changes to their regular schedule.

Libraries and courts in James City County will be closed on November 11 for Veterans Day.
