On Saturday, March 1, former Grafton High School standout Frankie Engel’s current college team, the Lynchburg Hornets, won 17-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the York Spartans.
The game took place at James C. Fox Field. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.
The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at James C. Fox Field against York Spartans.
James City County has announced the schedule for county offices, facilities, services, libraries, and courts in observance of Veterans Day on November 11.
James City County Parks & Recreation received seven awards from the Virginia Recreation & Park Society (VRPS) at its 72nd Annual Conference, which took place in Roanoke, Virginia from October 26-29.
The James City County Recreation Center will be closed for annual maintenance from November 17 to 23.
