On Friday, Feb. 21, former Lafayette High School standout Luke Hanson’s current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, lost 7-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oregon State Beavers.
The game took place at Dell Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Beavers this season.
The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. at Dell Diamond against Minnesota Golden Gophers.
James City County has announced the schedule for county offices, facilities, services, libraries, and courts in observance of Veterans Day on November 11.
James City County Parks & Recreation received seven awards from the Virginia Recreation & Park Society (VRPS) at its 72nd Annual Conference, which took place in Roanoke, Virginia from October 26-29.
The James City County Recreation Center will be closed for annual maintenance from November 17 to 23.
