The Abram Frink Jr. Community Center, located at 8901 Pocahontas Trail in Grove, is scheduled to close from July 3 to July 10 for maintenance work on the gym floor. The maintenance will involve cleaning and refinishing the floor using oil-based polyurethane. Although the center is closed on weekends, it will reopen on Friday, July 11.

During this period of closure, individuals holding active passes for the Frink Center are allowed to use the James City County Recreation Center at 5301 Longhill Rd. during its regular operating hours.

A representative stated, “Thank you for your patience as we make improvements to the Center.” For further details, individuals can contact either of these numbers: 757-887-5810 or 757-259-4200.

Additionally, both the James City County Recreation Center and Abram Frink Jr. Community Center will not be operational on Friday, July 4, due to Independence Day observances.
